Taekwondo at Napoli 2019 Summer Universiade

One of the most popular sports in Italy, Taekwondo action at the Napoli 2019 Summer Universiade begins on Monday, 8 July with the preliminaries and finals of Mixed Pair Poomsae. This is followed by preliminaries and finals in men’s and women’s individual weight categories from 9-12 July. Taekwondo action rounds off with the Team Kyorugi finals on 13 July.

There are more than 400 athletes entered in Taekwondo, with a maximum of 18 entries per country. The countries that have entered the maximum number of athletes are: Chinese Taipei, India, Mexico, Republic of Korea, Russia and USA.
